Have you heard about our Diabetes Prevention Progr Have you heard about our Diabetes Prevention Program? This CDC program is designed to help people with prediabetes to participate in affordable, high-quality lifestyle change programs to reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes and improve their overall health.

The DPP is a research-based program focusing on healthy eating and physical activity which showed that people with prediabetes who take part in a structured lifestyle change program can cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58%. 

This course can be done live or virtually, so you can incorporate it into you busy schedule as needed. Also, you can join within FOUR weeks of the course start date!

But have no fear! Today we’re highlighting vegan sources of each nutrient so you can get your fill! As dietitians, we want you to get your nutrients from food before supplements. But, if you fear your have a severe deficiency speak with your doctor about what’s right for you.

“Recipe” (Customize to your liking)
⭐️Vanilla Yogurt of your choice (~3/4 cup)
⭐️Chia seeds (1-2 TBSP)
⭐️Chopped Walnuts (~2 TBSP)
⭐️Unsweetened Shredded Coconut (~2 TBSP)
⭐️Raspberries (a handful)

All measurements are just approximate! Be as precise or carefree as you wish! Try swapping out the raspberries for other fruits, or mix them together for other flavor profiles! 🍓🍌🫐
